Recruiter.com’s CEO, Evan Sohn, joined CNBC’s ‘The Exchange’ to discuss the current job market and the Great Hesitation.
“We predicted earlier this year that the US economy would spend 50 billion dollars more in 2022 than in 2019 on talent acquisition, and companies are hesitating to lay off workers, knowing that they might have to bring them back,” said Sohn.
Sohn also touched on the job-hopper economy and shared that the September Recruiter Index reported over 50 percent of the candidates recruiters are speaking with have had two jobs in the past two years.
“Good talent is always going to be in demand, and good talent can make determinations on what sort of culture and work-life balance they want to have,” Sohn continued.
