Recruiter.com’s Senior Vice President of Marketing, Angela Copeland, was featured on Action News 5 to discuss ramping up your LinkedIn profile during your job search. Copeland also touched on the current job market saying despite recent changes Recruiter.com’s latest Recruiter Index shows candidate sentiment increasing.

Copeland suggests LinkedIn users keep their picture, job, skills, and headline up to date to optimize their chances of being seen by recruiters when they are searching for candidates. 

In addition to being a resource used by recruiters, Copeland highlighted other ways a user can optimize what Linkedin offers. “You can use it in a lot of different ways,” she explained, “to stay in touch with people you’ve worked with, to make new connections, and then to apply for things you’d like to do in the future.”
