Recruiter.com’s CEO, Evan Sohn, spoke with Nancy Goebel, DWG’s Deputy CEO, about companies overhiring, retaining employees, and the future of organizations whether it be remote, hybrid, or in person.
"The opportunity now is to figure out what you want to be when you grow up as an organization and to prioritize along the way,” explained Sohn when talking about the future of work, “Before Covid we had to be all things to all people - now I have this opportunity to say what sort of company do I want to be and I can decide what that is,” he continued.
Sohn and Goebel also discussed the importance of having a strong candidate pipeline, leading some companies to overhire in order to keep up with the current velocity of churn.
“As business owners in a digital work environment, what you need to be doing is consistently building your most precious asset, which is your people. You constantly have to be building your pipeline of people,” said Sohn.
