Recruiter.com’s CEO, Evan Sohn, joined CNBC’s “The Exchange” to discuss the ‘current war for talent’ and the dip in demand within the IT industry.

“Part of the challenge, and the reason we’re calling it a ‘war for talent’, is because everyone is now more valuable than they were two years ago. First of all, there are wage increases across the board and we saw recruiters working on even the work collar roles now because everyone is more valuable,” explained Sohn. 

Sohn reported that 900 thousand more people quit this past December than they did last a year ago December, leading to an increase in backfill roles.
