Recruiter.com’s Vice President of Marketing, Angela Copeland, spoke to CNBC about what may come across as a red flag to a recruiter.
Copeland urges candidates to come to an interview prepared to talk about salary but to wait for the recruiter to bring up pay first.
“If HR won’t give a number, show you’ve done your research by naming a competitive range based on your area and qualifications,” said Copeland.
