Earlier this month, Recruiter.com acquired Scouted, a venture capital-backed tech startup focused on unlocking human potential by developing deep insights into candidates through video screening and AI-based scoring algorithms. We are excited to welcome the Scouted team into the Recruiter.com family as we launch Scouted by Recruiter.com, a highly specialized candidate curation tool that leverages the power of AI and talent experts to help hiring managers recruit top talent faster.

Get to know a little more about the latest additions to our team:

Jacqueline Loeb-1

Jacqueline Loeb, SVP

Based out of: Normally New York, currently Wyoming

Work/educational background: Economics and engineering (but my bridge fell down) and working in strategy, management, and ops at a hedge fund. Used to spend my summers as a canoe-tripping guide leading extended overnight trips in the Canadian backcountry. 2008 from Dartmouth.

The most-used app on your phone: Zillow. Because I'm obsessed with real estate even though we are not buying a home.

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: Sleeping. But lately, skiing!

The biggest reason you love coming to work: I like working together with people to solve problems. It's the combo of helping someone else and making their lives better, coupled with the puzzle, that I find fun and meaningful.

Sarah Schultz-1

Sarah Schultz, Director of Communications

Based out of: Brooklyn, NY

Work/educational background: Ops and comms strategist with background in politics and nonprofit; UMass Amherst 2011.

The most-used app on your phone: Strava and WHOOP. If your run is not on Strava, did it even happen?!

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: In the middle of a 13-15 mile training run. Since the onset of COVID, I've been running without my teammates, so my husband has started joining as my bike pacer!

The biggest reason you love coming to work: I love the process of problem-solving and finding creative solutions to puzzles. Work is one giant opportunity to do that at scale!

Mark Weyland-1

Mark Weyland, Senior Business Development Manager

Based out of: NYC > Chicago

Work/educational background: Tech, media, and fashion. College of the Holy Cross 2012, Art History Major.

The most-used app on your phone: Instagram — lets me see what my friends are up to, even if I don't get to speak to them very often.

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: Phone calls catching up with friends while running to Trader Joe's or the dry cleaner.

The biggest reason you love coming to work: Getting to laugh with people I enjoy.

Kate Valk-1

Kate Valk, Senior Product Manager

Based out of: New York City

Work/educational background: Tech (and cookie decorating)

The most-used app on your phone: My Notes app and TikTok. Notes because I write every. thing. down. — from shopping lists to my "next big idea." And TikTok because, well, it's TikTok.

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: My Saturday mornings are either my time to sleep in, make a good breakfast, and (lately) do a puzzle, or I'm all over the city trying to run all the errands I saved for the weekend.

The biggest reason you love coming to work: Fixing things! From bugs or small workflows in a user experience to larger features and strategy, I love trying to find the best solution for what a product and company needs.

Chelsea Damon-1

Chelsea Damon, Content Marketing Manager

Based out of: Greenville, SC

Work/educational background: Writing and blogging! I studied teaching English as a second language in college.

The most-used app on your phone: Definitely Instagram and, more recently, TikTok. I'd like to say that I'm just doing market research, but if I'm being honest, I'm addicted :).

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: On a Saturday morning, you can typically find me either working out, making pancakes with the kids, or going on a family walk with our dog, Rainy.

The biggest reason you love coming to work: I love being creative! Whether it's writing a helpful blog post, crafting the perfect line of copy, or watching a tutorial on how to do something new in Illustrator, I love learning new, creative things and seeing how it can all work together to improve a company’s branding strategy.

Nicole Sanfilippo-1

Nicole Sanfilippo, Senior Account Manager

Based out of: Columbus, OH

Work/educational background: Psych degree, formerly in commercial real estate.

The most-used app on your phone: SMS (texting). Trying my best to stay in touch with everyone in such a weird time.

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: Taking our dog, Bella, to the park to play with her friend, Pebbles.

The biggest reason you love coming to work: Aside from giving me a sense of purpose, I really enjoy working with others and helping connect the dots for both clients and candidates.

Griffin Gustafssen-1

Griffin Gustafsson, Business Development Associate

Based out of: Boston, MA

Work/educational background: Sales; just graduated with a background in econ and data analytics.

The most-used app on your phone: Instagram. Love seeing what my friends are doing, and its where I get my daily dose of memes.

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: Taking time making some breakfast and eating it in front of the TV.

The biggest reason you love coming to work: The people! It’s great to show up to work every day and have so much energy surrounding you. It makes working from home much more fun and exciting.

Amber Box-1

Amber Box, Senior Talent Engagement Associate

Based out of: Austin, TX

Work/educational background: English, ESOL, career readiness; MA in English from Southern New Hampshire University.

The most-used app on your phone: The camera app because I am always taking pics of my kiddos and dogs!

What you're typically doing on a Saturday at 10 a.m.: On Saturday mornings, I am usually doing yoga or off on a hiking adventure with the family in the beautiful Hill Country.

The biggest reason you love coming to work: I love coming to work because I get to help people reach their goals every day. As a former teacher, I love walking people through their goals and setting them up for success, and it is so much fun watching people cross their own personal finish lines and getting to cheer them on along the way!
