Recruiter.com’s CEO, Evan Sohn, joined the Corporate Purpose Podcast with Karen Bailey to discuss the current state of hiring and how working from anywhere has become the new normal.
“No longer is there this geographically undesirable position for knowledged workers,” explained Sohn, “think about how many jobs that you had access to but they wanted you to move, that's just not going to happen anymore.”
Sohn touched on why the job market has changed over the past year or so explaining how the job hopper economy is on the rise as candidates' priorities shift and they search for new opportunities.
“You have all these effects - I’m interested in a new experience, I can work from anywhere, I can interview at any time and there is no stigma for leaving the company, and if there's no stigma for leaving a company this is really creating this incredible movement in the job economy today,” said Sohn.
