Recruiter.com’s CEO, Evan Sohn, joined Gary Wilbers on the CHARGE podcast to discuss how the job economy has changed and how businesses can adjust to the new economy.
Sohn explained a few of the reasons that led to the Great Resignation including work location, child care, a shift in priorities, and a fear to return to work.
Sohn also touched on the Great Reevaluation, where everyone including businesses, gets to “reevaluate their own priorities.” The velocity of resignations due to reevaluations will lead to an increase in the cost of hiring for 2022.
“Every business will spend more money on talent acquisition in 2022 than ever before,” said Sohn, estimating that the U.S economy will spend billions more on hiring in 2022.
