Recruiter.com’s CEO Evan Sohn joined Jason Averbook and Jess Von Bank on their Now of Work Digital Meetup on Friday, November 5, at 1 pm EST. 

Sohn discussed the job hopper economy, the increasing demand for talent, and the interview process, which includes a mixture of AI tools and people.

“We really started talking about candidates like the supply chain. The supply chain is broken when it comes to talent,” said Sohn. He explained that the best way to deal with the increasing application pool as a result of hire and work from anywhere is to increase your numerator, your number of applicants. 

“We are now in a job hopper economy. The notion that a college grad is going to take a job and stay there for 20 years or 10 years is just not a reality anymore,” Sohn explained when taking a deep dive into the current job market. 

“What we have to do as an industry is really embrace the fact that people are going to go.”
