Recruiter Company Updates

Recruiter.com Monthly Update for January

Written by Miles Jennings | Feb 08, 2020

As we kick off 2020, I want to first mention how thankful I am to our team for all of their hard work they put into making 2019 a transformational year for Recruiter.com. As we began our new life as a public company last year, it has also become very important to openly share our business results and current projects, so I also thought it would be a good idea to share a monthly update with our broader community.

Client and Partner Successes

January is off to a great start! We can peer into our future performance by looking at the number of new jobs opening up on the platform. New jobs on our platform have more than doubled - 253 new jobs for January versus 90 for December. This points to healthy client demand for our network of independent recruiters. We attribute the growth to increased hiring activity at four clients: one new client in the communications technology industry and three existing clients that are all in the energy field. We were also excited to announce an integration with SAP, which will allow enterprise customers to directly send jobs to the Recruiter.com platform through SAP's Fieldglass system.

Recruiter Network Updates

Our network of recruiters grew to 23,751 members, so we’re on our way to exceed our goal of 25,000 recruiters in the network that we set for the end of Q1. We also began a new healthcare recruiting vertical and on-boarded a lot of new recruiters with expertise in sourcing for nursing and medical roles. We brought on a deeply experienced healthcare recruitment professional, Yolanda Hubbard, to head up our healthcare practice. Yolanda comes to us with executive experience with companies like MedScore, RightSourcing, TruBlue, and Adecco and has already made a big impact through work with a large hospital chain. We’re excited to grow the healthcare vertical and build our network of recruiters within this specialty, and look forward to expanding into further specialized verticals throughout the year, such as Finance and Legal.

New Solution - Recruiters on Demand

We’re always looking for effective hiring solutions for our clients that also bring opportunities to our network of recruiters. Our new solution is called “Recruiters on Demand.” Recruiters on Demand is for rapidly growing companies that have a big spike in hiring or smaller companies that need help recruiting, but don’t yet want to commit to a staff employee. Recruiters on Demand is a flexible, monthly service to easily add a dedicated recruiter (or team of recruiters) without any long-term commitment or overhead. Get help with candidate sourcing, interviews, and offers without adding permanent headcount to your staff. If you want to hire a recruiter with Recruiters on Demand, I invite you to contact us to learn more.

Presenting Recruiter.com

We had a great time going to the LD Micro investor conference in Los Angeles. We somehow managed to eat and drink too much and yet still be in bed at 9 p.m. (love Pacific Time!) You can check out the same presentation we gave at the conference in the presentations section of our investor site. Also, our Chairman, Evan Sohn gave an interview with an overview of our company that you can see in the above video.

Featured Recruiter Network Member

A big shout out to our Editor, Matthew Kosinski, who published our 8th quarterly digital Recruiter.com Magazine. In this issue, he introduced a “Recruiter Hall of Fame” feature, profiling Abraham Regan of Federal Soft Systems, who is a senior recruiting specialist and successful Recruiter.com network member. We're very interested in building strong relationships with recruiting professionals and sharing their backgrounds and knowledge with our broader community. The publication also goes deep with an MBTI expert, HR executives discuss perks and culture, and Worldwide ERC Board Chairman Sue Carey explores how Canada is closing the skills gap.

New Platform Updates

We’re always improving our Job Market Platform and this month, our development team tackled the candidate submission process for recruiters. When recruiters upload candidates, they used to have to manually upload resumes with Word docs or PDFs, one by one. Now, we’re letting recruiters directly invite their candidates to apply, and allow recruiters to share jobs across their networks. This not only speeds up the submission process but ensures that candidate permission is always maintained. So like all good features, we hope this is a good one for job seekers, recruiters, and employers alike. Recruiters, watch for this update to be rolled out in the next week or two. We’re excited for this enhancement and expect it to increase engagement with recruiters and improve our speed of delivery to clients.

Summary

Since it’s January, I will call this month a very good start for Recruiter.com. We’re tracking toward our yearly financial goals and we’re bringing on new and large clients to fuel new jobs on the platform for our network of recruiters. We're also very excited to see the platform progressing in terms of integration with partners, such as SAP and Censia's AI recruitment platform. Overall, we focused on building engagement with our users, as we head toward being a system of choice for recruiters and employers alike. Thank you for keeping up with us, and feel free to learn more about the company and contact us if you are interested in getting involved.
